    Bauer Rainstar A

    The Rainstar A is the smallest of the Bauer Rainstar family. Nevertheless, one should not underestimate him. After all, it carries the Bauer DNA in all its components. And it is certain that the Rainstar A is in no way inferior to the big ones in terms of quality, technology and accuracy.

    Easy to use, powerful and technically up to date - these are the characteristics of the Rainstars A2,  A3 and A4. The possible use cases are diverse: Whether on sports fields, golf courses, in parks, schools, garden centers or cemeteries, the Rainstar A always looks good.

    What applies to the big ones also applies to the little ones: All steel parts of the Rainstars A are hot-dip galvanized in an immersion bath. They are therefore protected from corrosion all around and can do their job with dignity. Year for year.

    Drive Unit

    The compact drive unit, consisting of the BAUER full-flow turbine, the V-belt transmission and speed change gearbox, offers the A3 the optimum in economy and operating efficiency. Power transmission is ensured by a strong high-quality chain and precise laser cut toothed gear elements. These components are perfectly matched to each other. The result: Minimum pressure losses and maximum performance.

    For decades, BAUER has successfully employed the practice of insourcing to ensure quality, and we are the only manufacturer of reel irrigation machines to follow this principle. Instead of purchasing individual parts from all over the world, key components such as controls, gearboxes, turbines, polyethylene pipes, etc. are manufactured internally at the BAUER plant by specialists trained in-house.     The polyethylene pipe is one of the key components of a reel irrigation machine. Therefore every single PE pipe is produced by BAUER under the strictest quality specifications at the Voitsberg plant. We pay close attention to the correct mixture of the granulates and only accept the best quality. This is why BAUER PE pipes have an excellent reputation worldwide and are known for their exceptional resilience and long service life. Due to the independence and flexibility of our own production, it is possible to adjust the wall-thickness of every single PE-pipe in order to achieve low pressure loss and to save energy. Without compromising on durability, of course.

    Galvanized for eternity

    All steel parts of our RAINSTAR series are hot-dip galvanized, which means optimal corrosion protection for our machines. Apart from the fact that galvanized steel components are durable, strong and weather resistant, they are also 100% recyclable. In order to reduce transport distances, we mainly cooperate with galvanisation plants near our production facility in Voitsberg, which we see as a further contribution to saving resources.
