Irrigation booms allow for the irrigation of all or part of a plot of land, regardless of its shape. Used by farmers worldwide, IRRIFRANCE irrigation booms are robust and have a long lifespan. Each IRRIFRANCE boom can be adapted to all types of needs and situations. The advantage of an agricultural irrigation boom is its significantly lower water consumption compared to a sprinkler system, resulting in substantial savings during the irrigation season.

Water supply:

Water is supplied via a flexible polyethylene pipe of appropriate lengths. Alternatively, water can be supplied by pumping from a channel located along the ramp's path.

Power supply:

Electrical power for the boom is supplied either via a towed cable (380V mains) or by an onboard generator. The RM4/VE and RM4TD booms can operate in a forward and reverse direction with the option of rotation at the edges of the field. This rotation can be internal (without irrigation) or external (with irrigation). Double nozzle systems ensure water supply in all cases.

All the components of the pivot are hot-dip galvanized at 480°.
4G4 mm² + 7×1.5 mm² copper electrical cables: Special PVC-based coating on electrical cables for increased resistance to weathering, UV and rodents.
All purchased components and the basic materials used for the manufacture of the pivots are certified compliant and meet irrigation standards.
All screws and nuts are 8/8 grade, zinc-plated and bichromated. Screw diameters range from M10 to M20 and all nuts are self-locking.
Low annual upkeep and maintenance cost: 0.25% of the pivot amount.
All IRRIFRANCE pivots and ramps have a 3-year structural warranty.
