Fully Hydraulic Operation
The IT070BM uses hydraulic actuation for trolley lifting, turntable rotation, drawbar lifting, and telescopic stabiliser feet — all powered via rapid couplings to the tractor.
Every major positioning and adjustment function is controlled from the tractor cab, dramatically reducing setup time and operator effort across large irrigation runs.
Water-Powered Turbine Drive
A turbine is flanged directly onto the gearbox with a built-in by-pass valve, using irrigation water pressure as the sole energy source to drive hose retrieval.
Eliminates the need for external electrical or mechanical power at the machine, making the unit fully self-sufficient and deployable in remote field locations.
4-Speed Synchronized Gearbox
A four-ratio synchronized speed gearbox with integrated power take-off controls the hose retrieval rate across a wide range of speeds.
Allows precise matching of winding speed to crop, soil, and pressure conditions, ensuring uniform water application across the full irrigation run.
Speed Equalizer & Tachometer
A speed equalizer mechanism works alongside an onboard tachometer to maintain and monitor consistent hose retrieval speed throughout the irrigation pass.
Delivers uniform application depth from start to finish of the run, preventing over- or under-watering at any point along the field.
Dual Raingun Nozzle Sets
Two complete nozzle sets are included — REFLEX raingun nozzles from Ø24 to Ø32 mm and EXPLORER raingun nozzles from Ø28 to Ø40 mm — covering a wide flow range.
Operators can fine-tune application rate and throw radius to suit different crops, soil types, and available water pressure without purchasing additional accessories.
Multi-Diameter Water Inlet
A galvanised double water inlet supports hose diameters from 100 mm to 140 mm, with Bauer Ø108 fittings for 100–125 mm hose and Bauer Ø133 fittings for 135–140 mm hose.
Provides flexibility to pair the machine with different hose sizes based on flow demand or existing farm infrastructure, without requiring adaptor kits.
Hot-Galvanised Chassis & Reel
Both the main chassis and hose reel are constructed from hot-dip galvanised steel, with safety guards that are additionally swaged, galvanised, and painted.
Multi-layer corrosion protection ensures the structural integrity of the machine is maintained through years of outdoor exposure, moisture, and chemical contact.
Virgin Polyethylene Hose
The irrigation hose is manufactured from unadulterated virgin polyethylene raw material, ensuring consistent wall thickness and material purity throughout its length.
Virgin PE construction resists cracking, UV degradation, and pressure fatigue far better than recycled-material alternatives, extending hose service life significantly.
Variable Track Wheels
The galvanised raingun trolley is mounted on variable track wheels, with the main unit running on heavy-duty 11.5/80-15.3 12PR 6F tyres.
Adjustable track width allows the trolley and main unit to navigate different row spacings and field conditions without becoming unstable or causing crop damage.
Telescopic Stabiliser Feet
Four hydraulically operated telescopic feet extend from the chassis to level and stabilise the machine on uneven ground during operation.
Ensures the reel and drivetrain remain correctly aligned on sloping or irregular terrain, preventing hose misalignment and mechanical stress during winding.
